Senior Project Manager - HV Infrastructure and Energy Projects
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia

About The Role:

Randstad has been engaged to recruit a talented Senior Project Manager. The client has a strong presence in the energy sector in Australia and has a strong pipeline of projects with a mix of substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS).

As a Senior Project Manager you will:

  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other project partners
  • Prioritise quality, safety and HSEQ standards
  • Provide technical and site leadership across engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Lead projects from conception through to commissioning and handover
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, project leadership

Experience:

  • Proven expertise in project management in the energy sector (HV infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy)
  • P&L Accountability
  • Proven experience delivering HV infrastructure and large-scale EPC projects.
  • Experience managing sub-contractors, stakeholders, client relationships, contract management
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects on time/budget
  • Experience with grid connection, SCADA, commissioning activities, and other related activities

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, or other closely related discipline
  • 10+ years in Project Management
  • Background in delivering large-scale utility and renewable energy projects
  • Project Management certification highly desirable (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
